Hiking
Superior Vista Trail is a moderately challenging 2-mile hike covering steep switchbacks with incredible views of Superior. It’s an excellent daily workout in nature, perfect for those wanting to get exercise while visiting.
Cascade Falls is an easy 3-mile out and back hike near Paradise. The scenery is lush with wildflowers dotting your path. Be sure to bring your camera! Make your way gradually up the mountain until you get to the waterfalls.
Bonanza Lakes is a moderately challenging, almost 5-mile hike (out and back). It is a relatively secluded trail and perfect for warm summer days. The path is overgrown, so you should wear pants and long sleeves if possible.
Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.
Fishing
Bid Eddy is an access site used for boating and fishing. Float down the river and soak up the Montana sun. Also, check out Dry Creek fishing access for a similar experience.
Consider Clark Fork Trout & Tackle and hire an experienced fishing guide who knows the local Montana waters and will guarantee a good trip.
