Definitely, the main driving force behind the event is the showcasing of local and regional artists’ skills.

Artists from across the state get involved in the Artist Demonstration Tent which features work and exhibits along the lines of indigenous art, embroidery, mosaics, pottery and ceramics, textiles, and much more.

On top of that, there are usually a few other interesting touches like the libations garden.

The garden is a particularly attractive feature of the festival for many attendees and is the place where refreshing alcoholic beverages can be found. Step into the garden and you’ll surely be inspired to find something that hits the spot, regardless of usual preferences.

SLAM is also proud to host the exclusive serving of delicious beers from a local craft brewery like Bozeman Brewing. Wine also flows on tap from BLEND winery in Bozeman.

There are also other events like a silent auction, kids’ and family activities, yoga, dance, and healing, not to mention live music. This broad spectrum of events, exhibits, and activities keeps things interesting for everyone for the whole weekend.
