Welcome to Discovering Montana, one of the most trusted resources for locals and tourists visiting the treasure state. Our team are on a mission to help our readers take find the hidden gems that Montana has to offer, from Hot Springs & Ghost Towns, to the best places to stay eat and drink.

Our Mission

Our local network of residents, travelers, and guest authors bring original and valuable articles related to Montana tourism. Our goal is to be a comprehensive guide for the states: events, towns, hotels, restaurants, businesses, and news.

Our travel guide is divided into several categories, including Things To DoWhere To StayFood & Drink, and Towns. We aim to cover (or discover) the most popular activities, festivals, towns, and counties. If there’s something you want to see listed, let us know.

Adam is a Canadian-based freelance editor and writer. Having spent several years as a critic on various media sites covering film, TV and literature he found a passion for the editing and site-building process through his various administrative roles. Now his focus is in helping others to create engaging content through the editorial process.

In his downtime Adam enjoys writing on passion projects, spending time with his dog Lily, reading, or watching cheesy movies with his friends.

Rebecca has been a travel blogger and editor for over 5 years, working with some of the biggest brands in industry.

She’s taught English as a foreign language in 5 different countries,  and her most fulfilling role was as a tour guide around some of Europe’s finest vineyards.

She the one behind the social channels here at Discovering Montana, whilst also finding the time to perform an assistant editor role.

Will is a true digital nomad, taking his work on the road at every opportunity. His first love is coffee, with travel a close 2nd.

He loves nothing more than hitting the road in his self-build campervan and visiting off-the-beaten-path places, away from popular tourist destinations.

In 2021, Discovering Montana purchased camping Montana with the goal of brining the biggest and most helpful camping & RV directory for the state of Montana. These acquisitions are part of a long-term plan to become the number one resource for Montana.
